Chris Casny, came to the US in 1994, from Switzerland as a third generation stone sculptor and furniture maker. He studied art and design in Bern (Switzerland) at the Kunst und Gewerbeschule. Along with his studies, he apprenticed, from the age of 16, with some of the best sculptors and artist in the country.

Moving to Los Angeles, he found work, as a Propmaker ( IATSE Local44)

building sets. Over the years he got more and more into building custom furniture, for various Productions and Film Biz people and in turn decided to open his own business in 2002 to cater to a broader audience.

He quickly ran out of space, in his one car garage and had to expand to a warehouse in 2004.

He focusses on “high end” projects.

His greatest influences are mid-century and contemporary design but does not shy away from building more traditional pieces with an old world feel.
